Provides professional arts performances that contribute to the quality of life of people in care. It is the largest performance arts organisation in Canada dedicated exclusively to people in healthcare. Health Arts Society presents performance events in health care sites as ARTSWAY
Since the beginning of 2006 Health Arts Society (ArtsWay) has delivered over 2,500 professional music and theatre performances to people in long term health care facilities.
ARTSWAY provides patients isolated from our arts community the experience of enjoying performance arts in their own health care setting. These patients, their families and health care professionals alike have been stimulated by these live 45-minute performances.
The Knowledge Network attended a performance in 2007 and reported the wonderful impression it had on the audience.

ArtsWay is growing. In 2009 over 1,000 ArtsWay events were presented throughout BC. Find out how you can participate in the benefits the arts bring to patients by donating to the Society.
