JOEL KLEIN, baritone

Vancouver-based baritone Joel Klein enjoys opera, oratorio, arts song, and the music of Broadway musicals. Joel pursued his studies at UBC and at the Mount Royal College Conservatory in Calgary, and has gone on to perform roles in operas by Puccini, Strauss, and Massenet with opera companies in Canada and Europe. He is frequently engaged as a soloist for oratorio performances, in particular Handel’s Messiah, which he has sung with the Handel Society, the Abbotsford Symphony, the Pacific Symphony, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
