Michael Barrett
Bio
Born in Newfoundland, tenor Michael Barrett is a former member of the COC Ensemble Studio. He now sings regularly with the company and with companies in Canada in opera productions of composers as varied as Mozart, Bizet, Beethoven and Britten. Always drawn to opera, Michael was singing in productions at the University of Toronto Opera School before coming to the Canadian Opera Company. He frequently appears with the Aldeburgh Connection, where he performed in Our Story for the 25h anniversary celebrations.
