NICOLA EVERTON, clarinet

Nicola‘s studies included a scholarship year at Arizona State University, and then four years the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, and a winter at the Banff School of Fine Arts. As a musician in the Vancouver area, Nicola was a member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for twenty years, and toured Asia with the orchestra. She was also active with chamber music groups in the city and a faculty member of the Vancouver Academy of Music. She extended her teaching year into summer festivals in Idaho and at UBC.
Nicola now makes her music in the beautiful Kootenays and pursues her other passions—running and outdoor sports.
