PATRICIA AU – piano

 Canadian pianist Patricia Au has many years of experience partnering with singers, and has performed recently at Vancouver’s Chan Centre, in Toronto, Boston and in the United Kingdom.  A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and a recipient of various scholarships and grants, she has been able to pursue additional studies with a heavy focus on art song and opera in various parts of Canada, Italy and Austria.  A frequent Canadian music performer, she has presented premiere performances for the following composers: Murray Adaskin, Ernst Schneider and Imant Raminsh. 

 Ms. Au has a passion for teaching and is a past faculty member of the Victoria Conservatory of Music and worked with the Young Artist Experience, an interdisciplinary chamber music camp at UBC.
